Align Ventures Closes $125 Million Funding to Further Emerging Consumer Brands

The raise builds on strong outcomes from Align’s debut fund including recent exits from Coterie, acquired by Mammoth Brands, and Touchland, acquired by Church & Dwight.

Align Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in consumer brands and technologies, has closed its oversubscribed $125 million Early-Stage Fund II.

This surpassed its $100 million target and brought the total platform’s AUM to more than $2.5 billion as of June 2026, officials said.

“We build deep conviction in our prospective partners ahead of an investment and only back a small number of brands each year. That way we can offer meaningful support and shape outcomes for our portfolio companies,” said Ben Bryce, founder and managing Partner at Align Ventures. “We offer capital at every stage, access to advisors who have built household names within consumer, and a team that has guided billions in exits.”

Culture-Defining Consumer Brands

Early-Stage Fund II drew returning Fund I investors alongside new partners who share the firm’s conviction in culture-defining consumer brands. The raise builds on strong outcomes from Align’s debut fund, including recent exits from Coterie, acquired by Mammoth Brands, and Touchland, acquired by Church & Dwight. Combined with earlier exits from Hims and Billie, these rank among the most successful consumer outcomes of the past five years, officials said. Fund I ranks in the top decile across TVPI, Net IRR, and DPI among 2019-vintage US venture funds, according to Carta.

With Fund II, Align will invest $2 million to $10 million initial checks into 15-20 brands that transform everyday consumer experiences across categories including beauty, personal care, health, wellness, pet and home. Ahead of Fund II, Align warehoused an early-stage investment in California Naturals and recently followed on in the company’s Series B.

Alongside GPs Ben Bryce and Grant Hosking, the investment team includes Andrew Ferrero, Peyton Raun and Melanie Singh, who join Align from firms including Left Lane Capital and The Estée Lauder Companies (New Incubation Ventures). Collectively, the team brings experience across consumer investing, brand strategy, and operating roles at category-defining brands.

Founded in 2018, Align has built a track record of backing category leaders within the consumer space, including Hims, Billie, Olipop, Starface, Jinx and California Naturals.
